Job Description :

Key Responsibilities:

1. Letter of Credit Management:
- Handle all aspects of Letter of Credit (LC) transactions including issuance,
negotiation, amendment, and settlement.
- Review LC terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and
international banking regulations.
- Coordinate with banks and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure
timely payment and receipt of funds.
- Maintain accurate records of LC transactions and monitor payment schedules.

2. Bank Guarantee Administration:
- Manage the issuance, renewal, and cancellation of Bank Guarantees (BGs) as per
company requirements.
- Liaise with banks to obtain necessary approvals and documentation for BG
transactions.
- Monitor BG expiry dates and initiate renewal processes to maintain uninterrupted
financial guarantees.
- Collaborate with legal and operational teams to provide BGs as per contractual
obligations.

3. Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare and review documentation related to LCs, BGs, and other financial
instruments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to
trade finance operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international banking practices, rules, and
regulations pertaining to LCs and BGs.

4. Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and external
stakeholders involved in trade finance activities.
- Act as a primary point of contact for bank inquiries and negotiations related to LCs
and BGs.
- Provide guidance and support to internal departments on financial matters related to
LCs and BGs.

5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on LC and BG utilization, trends, and performance metrics
for management review.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost
optimization in trade finance operations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting related to LC and BG expenses.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in handling Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantee
transactions, preferably in the manufacturing or trading industry.
- Strong understanding of international trade finance practices, ICC rules, and UCP 600
guidelines.
- Proficiency in using banking software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
